Important Information for Applicants

***Read 'Application Guidelines' and 'Raid Rules and Schedule' prior to applying (Located under 'General Guides' on the left).***

*Select whether you want to make this application public or private from the above drop down menu. Public apps can be viewed by all, including non-members of IWS. Private apps can be viewed only by the officers of the guild.

* Fill out the application IN FULL and CORRECTLY the first time. For a sample, check out the stickied app in our forum.

* Be online/responsive during our raid times in case we are bringing apps that raid.

* Good communication skills. Many of the encounters are multifaceted, and it's impossible for a single person to monitor all the elements of a fight. We rely on all our raiders to provide input on fights and give constructive suggestions/ideas, especially for new content. Members also need to know when to be vocal and when to be quiet and listen. You have to be able to respond on Vent when spoken to. This means having a microphone!

* Possess a PvE mindset. Our officers and members have a strong desire to see new content and progress as a guild. If you do not share the same goals/interests, this is not the guild for you.

* Mature enough to tolerate jokes and handle criticism. We can be very harsh when dealing with fuck ups. If you are unable to take criticism of this nature you probably won't like it very much here.

* Applicants need to be well geared. Your gear should be on par with our current progression instance. Your gear needs to be enchanted/gems to maximize your raid performance. If you still feel that you meet the criteria we are looking for in a player and do not possess the aforementioned gear by all means throw up an App. We will take a look as some of our best raiders joined when their gear was lackluster but have turned out to be more than worth gearing up.

* Come prepared to every raid with consumables (potions, flasks, oils, food, etc) to last you the entire night. You will have to bring your own Potions/food etc.

* Know how to prepare for encounters. If it's a new fight, you're expected to understand at least the basic abilities of the fight and have seen videos of the encounter.

* Be reasonably social and have a good sense of humor.

* Stable internet connection. If you disconnect frequently and/or lag you will not get much raid time and you will only make us hate you. Don't even apply if you can't stay online.

Yeah Jeff, I've been planning on taking the guild to SWTOR since I heard about it. I'll be making a post about it soon. Hopefully we'll have a lot of interest from IWS Members past and present so we can hit the ground running over there.
